London Olympics 2012 “Offside Explained” Coin

Τo coincide with the London Olympics later this year, The Royal Mint has issued a new 50p coin which attempts to explains football’s offside rule. The coin is part of a set released to celebrate the Olympics, and designed with function in mind; to explain a rule which leaves so many people confused. The coin was designed by Neil Wolfson, who won the competition to design a coin which was sport related for the series. This is sure to be highly collectable.
